~ Introduction ~

The idea of this web page is as a source of reliable information for owners and would be owners of Lotus Sevens [Series One to Four - 1957 to 1973]. All information on the site is taken from original Lotus sales brochures, Lotus factory records, Lotus Seven Owners Manuals and the catalogues of the companies that supplied Lotus then. Where possible the cars pictured are thought to be in original or near original condition or of original specification.

As ever, we are always learning so if you have any specialist or insider knowledge concerning the manufacturer or racing of the Lotus Seven, I would be very glad to hear from you. Further I would welcome any additions, suggestions or constructive criticisms regarding this web site. Finding suitable pictures of original cars has been particularly difficult as they were not originally taken with the web site in mind.

I do not intend any formal acknowledgements, as I pledge confidentiality with all that I do. So I thank all who have items pictured on this site.

Lastly, I am often asked if I know of any Lotus Sevens for sale. Introductions are totally free of charge and without guarantee.

I hope that you find these pages informative and useful.
